Savannah Guthrie gives fiery response to a teeth question

Savannah Guthrie, known for her sharp wit, had a hilarious comeback when someone asked if her teeth have veneers.

While giving an interview to Parade on the red carpet on Friday, June 6, the 53-year-old American broadcaster and journalist was giving answers to some rapid-fire questions when someone asked if she has veneers.

Guthrie was quick to ask, “What is that, like, braces?”

Referring to clear braces, which are made from trays, the co-host of Today shared, “Well, I did Invisalign,” and asked again, “What are veneers?”

The co-host of Today went on to jokingly say, “I guess no. I probably need them, whatever they are.”

“I gotta go — getting veneers!” she quipped as she walked away, laughingly.

For the unversed, veneers are a common cosmetic dental treatment and to put them on, dentists permanently remove enamel from a person’s teeth to make the surfaces rough, which helps veneers stay in place, as per the Mayo Clinic.
