Jesy Nelson just revealed that her car has been stolen off her driveway and now she is pleading with her fans to help locate the 100,000 pounds vehicle.
The former Little Mix star revealed in January that her twins Ocean and Story had been diagnosed with a rare genetic condition called Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA), a progressive condition that weakens muscles over time.
Jesy’s nine-month old daughters have been diagnosed with Type 1, the most severe form. Those with Type 1 can have a life expectancy of less than two years without treatment.
The Sweet Melody singer took to Instagram and wrote, “My car got stolen off of my drive way in the early hours of this morning. If anyone sees a black defender Reg plate JJ73SSY please if any of you have seen or know of any information can you dm me or contact the police.”
Revealing the tragic part of the theft, Jesy penned, “I have so much of my girls hospital equipment in that car that’s really needed.”
“Was stolen in Brentwood Essex,” she added.
Jesy has explained that she has decided to keep filming her Prime Video series despite being told her daughters may not live beyond the age of two. The singer wants to raise awareness for the condition SMA and “make a change.”
She said in a Q&A, “I just hope people continue to watch the next part of the journey. When the girls got their diagnosis, we decided that we wanted to continue filming.”
“As hard as it was, we were like, ‘You know what? There’s a reason you guys are here, and we’ve got to make the best out of this situation,'” Jesy Nelson said at that time as she explained how she looked at the bright side of the situation.
