Ali Larter exposes ‘Landman’ creator Taylor Sheridan’s behaviour on set

Ali Larter has revealed Landman creator Taylor Sheridan’s hilarious way of communication while writing the script.

On Thursday, April 16, Larter became part of Landman’s screening at the Saban Media Center in Hollywood, where PEOPLE magazine caught her.

The 50-year-old American actress and former model, who is playing Angela, wife of Tommy Norris (Billy Bob Thornton) in the series, told the outlet about how Sheridan communicates with her when he is busy writing.

She shared, “I just know I’ll get a text from him, like, when he’s writing… if he’s laughing at his own writing… I’ll get a text.”

Shedding light on her role, Larter admitted, “I love it. Because I think, I think most moms feel that way… Angela does not like, you know, she doesn’t do societal norms. She’s going to do whatever she wants.”

For those unaware, Landman season 1 was released on November 17, 2024 on Paramount+ and aired 10 episodes in total, while the sophomore season came out on Sunday, November 16, 2025, with the same episode count as the first season.

The series is “set within the world of oilfields in West Texas, where roughnecks and wildcat billionaires are fueling a boom so big it is reshaping our climate, our economy, and our geopolitics,” as per its synopsis.

It is pertinent to mention that Landman, which is streaming on Paramount+, is expected to release its third season in November of this year.
