What BTS’s new album means for their epic comeback?

After nearly four years away from the spotlight in the music world as a group, BTS finally gave fans a reason to celebrate.

The K-pop superstars, RM, Jin, Jimin, V, Suga, Jung Kook and j-hope, announced that their fifth album ARIRANG, will be released on March 20, 2026, ending a long wait for their fans all around the world.

BigHit Music shared preorder details through Target, offering ten vinyl editions and two CD editions, all with collectible photocards.

However, fans rushed to secure their copies, though the full album artwork has not been revealed yet.

Hints of the comeback started appearing this month earlier when BigHit Music confirmed the March 20 release.

This news came after last summer when BTS teased a world tour and a new album coming in spring 2026.

RM, Jin, Jimin, V, Suga, Jung Kook and j-hope started working on the project in July 2025.

The band also gave a sneak peek into their world tour plans for 2026-2027 as well, as it will start in South Korea in April and cover more than 70 shows across Asia, North America, South America, Australia and Europe.

For the unversed, all seven of them have finished their South Korea’s military service, with Suga completing his service as a social service agent in June 2025 while the others serve in the army between 2022 and 2025.
