‘It Ends With Us’ lawsuit drags Taylor Swift back into controversy after new update

Blake Lively has made several attempts to clear the names of Taylor Swift, Ryan Reynolds, and Hugh Jackman, from her legal battle with Justin Baldoni, but the opposing party doesn’t seem to agree.

Lively’s It Ends With Us co-star, Justin Baldoni, filed a new motion against the Gossip Girl star’s request to redact the names of her pals from the lawsuit.

Baldoni’s legal team argued that “not one of [Lively’s] requests meets the [court’s] high standard for sealing at this stage.”

While Lively’s request named her husband an “innocent third party” caught in the legal drama, Baldoni claimed that he was involved in several rewriting controversies for the movie, as per the legal documents obtained by TMZ.

The Jane the Virgin star argued that Lively is trying to protect the public image of her famous friends after she had them “recruited as advocates on her behalf against the Wayfarer Parties in her attempt to take over the film.”

The filing went on to state that majority of the famous witness in this case – including Swift, Jackman, Emily Blunt, and America Ferrera have already been made public.

The 14-time-Grammy winner’s name was first heard in the Lively-Baldoni lawsuit when the filmmaker countersued Lively, claiming that she used Swift’s name to threaten him with her power.
