Sydney Sweeney just opened up about Euphoria season 3.
After season 2 where Rue continued to struggle with addiction and Cassie was dealing with her pregnancy and its consequences, filming of the third season was delayed.
However, in January, it was confirmed that he filming had begun and Sweeney, who portrays the character of Cassie shared that season three would be absolutely “unhinged.”
In a new interview with Empire magazine, the 27-year-old spoke about the love she has for her character, Cassie Howard and said, “I have such a spot in my heart for Cassie, and I hold her really close and dear. She is crazy. She makes so many mistakes. She’s flawed on so many levels, but she does it all from a place of love. It could be a sad version of love, as well.”
Also teasing that Sam Levinson, the creator of Euphoria has big plans for Sweeney this season, stating that its “so much fun to play a character that is as crazy as she is.”
“Sam is such a brilliant filmmaker to work with,” she praised, adding: “I’ll read something, then I’ll call him, and I’m like, ‘Let’s go crazier.’ And he’s like, ‘I’m all in.'”
“And this season is unhinged,” Sydney Sweeney added but remained tight lipped about further official details for Euphoria season 3.
