‘Superman’ Rachel Brosnahan gets honest about her collaboration with David Corenswet

Rachel Bresnahan, who portrays the role of Lois Lane in Superman, has opened up a magical moment from the set.

The Hollywood actress will appear in the superhero movie alongside David Corenswet, Bradley Cooper, Edi Gathegi, and Isabela Merced.

At Cineworld London Leicester Square premiere of Superman, Bresnahan candidly talked with People about her filming experience with her co-stars.

Recalling a magical moment when she was shooting with Gathegi one of those balls for VFX scene and he saw their reflection in a mirror, she said, “Edi grabbed my arm and gasped and I thought something had gone wrong and was really misty-eyed and said, ‘I just saw us in the movie.”

“And it’s one of those moments where, as long as the days can get and as challenging as things can sometimes be on a set, you’re reminded that you’re a part of something that makes you feel the magic that you felt as a kid who loved movies and I’m excited to be able to share that,” she added.

Meanwhile, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel actress shared that she built a work relationship with Corenswet, who plays Superman.

“We got to spend some time together before we started shooting, and we got to have a couple of meals,” she told the outlet. “David was having about five meals for every one meal that I was having at that point.”

Before concluding, Rachel Bresnahan noted that they “realized really early on that we’re quite similar in how we work, how we approach this kind of collaboration.”

Superman is set to release on July 11, 2025.
