‘Squid Game 3’ final trailer reveals thrilling update about plot

Squid Game season 3’s final trailer has just now revealed what fans can expect from the series.

Lee Jung-jae will star in the Korean series alongside Wi Ha-joon, Kang Ha-neul, Lee Byung-hun, Yim Siwan, Park Sung-hoon, Kang Ae-shim and Lee David.

In the trailer, the voiceover of Ae-shim as a player 149 (Jang Geum-ja) speaking to the protagonist character player 456.

“Are you blaming yourself for everything that happened? No matter how you look at it, life is just unfair,” she began by saying.

The final season revolves around player 456, played by Jung-jae, facing a struggle to end the deadly game after experiencing a devastating loss and betrayal in previous seasons.

“Bad people do bad things, but they blame others and go on to live in peace. Good people, on the other hand, beat themselves up about the smallest things,” she continued.

“I still believe that you came here to save us all,” she concluded before player 456 monologue added the final line, “I’m trying to put an end to it.”

For those unversed, the series’ season 1 broke records for viewership within its 91-days and continued the success, season 2 becoming the most watched show in 2024.

Squid Game season 3 is scheduled to be released on June 27, 2025.
