‘Shrinking’ actor gets honest about season three

Jason Segel, who plays Jimmy in Shrinking, is teasing his character that he is ready for a relationship.

This comes in contrast to the central premise of the show, where the actor played a therapist in the grief of his wife’s sudden passing.

“Yeah, I do,” he told Variety. “I think that this funny thing happens where when you’re doing a lot of personal work that’s solo, you get to a point where you’re like, I am ready to date.”

When pressed to share details, Jason said he would not comment on whether his character would have any romantic sparks with his co-worker Gaby (Jessica Williams), with whom he flirted a bit in the series.
