Robert Pattinson explains his choice to keep his personal life away from public eye

The Drama press tour has brought Zendaya and Robert Pattinson’s rarely seen personality traits and quirks to the surface, as they continue to do interviews together. 

The 39-year-old actor and the Euphoria alum, 29, discussed having a preferred working side during a new interview and it revealed the reason why the Batman star actually doesn’t have Instagram.

The co-stars, who share a beautiful friendship and they recently took their turn on the GQ Friendship Quiz on YouTube.

In the test, Pattinson asked Zendaya if she has a favourite side of herself, to which she responded that she does and it often switches depending on whether she is taking pictures or film. 

However, the Twilight star pressed further, asking, “Do you think when you take a selfie, it flips your face around?,” which Zendaya did not fully understand, saying, “What do you mean?”

Pattinson thus proved his point that the Disney star does not have a side, because “Anyone who’s really got a side, you flip around and you’re horrified. That’s why I don’t have Instagram, if I took a selfie then I feel like I don’t exist.”

While flipped selfies might not be the only reason the Harry Potter actor does not use social media, he has been away from the apps for a long time – often sharing that he prefers to live his life without constantly being online and accessible to the world.
