New ‘Fantastic Four’ producer teases film’s ‘grand scale’

The Fantastic Four had been released a couple of times before. But the latest take on the team of superheroes is bigger than previous versions.

This is how the Marvel film’s producer, Grant Curtis, explained in an interview with Collider.

“It’s a very interesting word when you go back and look at the history of the Fantastic Four. And I think I used it earlier when they described themselves as imaginauts, you know?” he asked,

The producer added, “Their world, their universe, their galaxy was massive. And I think to do them justice, you have to look at that ‘imaginauts’ word and just see where that can play out on a grander scale than what we’ve seen in the past.”

Moreover, Grant said the forthcoming Fantastic Four is made free of restraints.

“I think that is how you do the Fantastic Four justice, is when you take away the boundaries, and you just look at what their world, their universe, their galaxy was in the narrative.”

Fantastic Four: First Steps will be out on July 25.
