The rock legend Ozzy Osbourne passed away at the age of 76 on Tuesday.
Now, the secret to his successful marriage with Sharon Osbourne has been revealed, as reported by RadarOnline.
The outlet revealed that Sharon kept a strict watch over her husband after he slipped back into drugs in 2013 following years of sobriety.
Insider at the time revealed, “Sharon was blindsided by Ozzy’s relapse. Now, she’s not taking any chances.”
However, Sharon gave the late singer an ultimatum at the time to agree to random testing.
The source stated, “Ozzy will do anything Sharon asks as long as she’ll take him back. He can’t bear to live without her.”
Moreover, Ozzy agreed that Sharon “can give him random drug and alcohol tests” to make sure there are not any slip-ups.
Additionally, speaking during the episode of The Talk in 2013, Sharon Osbourne talked about her husband’s partying reputation, saying, “It’s a disease that not only hurts the person that has the disease but it hurts the family. It hurts people that love you and we’re dealing with it.”
“We’ve dealt with worse and we will deal with it and this too shall pass. Otherwise my husband will be taken to the hospital to get my foot removed from his a–,” she shared.
Ozzy Osbourne and Sharon tied the knot in 1982.
