Liam Neeson and Pamela Anderson’s new relationship is drawing warm support from his family, especially Joely Richardson, the sister of his late wife, Natasha Richardson.
Following Anderson’s playful Instagram post celebrating the release of The Naked Gun, which featured sweet and goofy photos of her and Neeson, Joely responded with a row of red heart emojis in the comments.
The simple gesture quietly but clearly showed her affection and approval.
The romantic connection between Neeson, 73, and Anderson, 58, reportedly began while they were filming their new comedy together.
A source close to the production shared that the relationship is still in its early days but feels genuine.
“It’s a budding romance in the early stages. It’s sincere, and it’s clear they’re smitten with each other,” the insider said.
The couple has been spending time together during the promotional run of their film and, as the source added, are “enjoying each other’s company.”
Anderson’s Instagram post had an uplifting, lighthearted tone, inviting fans to head to theaters and have a good laugh with The Naked Gun.
“Bring your friends, family, lovers… whoever… just go and have a laugh… it’s good for you!” she wrote, sharing a playful moment where Neeson sprinkled popcorn over her head.
The caption ended with her signature warmth, “I’ll see you there.”
Neeson’s late wife, Natasha Richardson, was an acclaimed actress and beloved member of the Redgrave acting family.
She and Neeson met in 1993 while performing together on Broadway and married the following year. Their bond was strong, and they raised two sons together, Micheál and Daniel, before Natasha’s tragic passing in 2009 after a skiing accident.
