Miley Cyrus gets honest about her life on the road

Miley Cyrus has recently shared her true experience of touring around the globe for her shows.

The Flowers hit-maker has described the life on the road both exhausting and isolating in an exclusive interview with CBS Sunday Morning.

“A lot of the time your family is not with you. So, mostly, you are alone. And you spend these nights where thousands of people are telling they love you and then you lay down on your bed at night and there’s nobody,” reflects the 32-year-old.

Miley talks about comedowns that come with touring is “substances issues and the physicality”.

The Hannah Montana star notes that it’s like “you are an athlete but they have seasons and other teammates”.

“The difference is you are just a solo artist; you have a band and some dancers but it’s really about you,” dishes the singer-songwriter.

“You can’t replace you… And it’s too much pressure,” she states.

Elsewhere in the interview, Miley has also revealed the least favourite part of touring and that’s she doesn’t like to live out of a suitcase.

“I don’t like folding my clothes. I like everything hung nicely. And I like to wake up in the morning decide what I am going to wear,” explains The Last Song actress.

Before concluding, Miley adds one of the things that she gets really tired about touring is “to put on the same outfit every night”.
