Michael B. Jordan reveals how mom really feels about Nikki’s explicit joke

Michael B. Jordan revealed how his mother Donna Jordan really felt about Nikki Glaser’s raunchy joke.

After the Black Panther star’s mother went viral for her reaction following Glaser’s explicit comments during the opening monologue at the 2026 Golden Globes award ceremony over the weekend, the American actor and film producer revisited the moment that made his mom an overnight sensation.

In the latest episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Monday, January 12, the Sinners actor jokingly said that Donna is “used to” people lusting after him.

“I had fun, but my mom stole the show,” the 38-year-old said to Kimmel, 58, with a laugh. “I’m pretty sure all her girlfriends are, like, texting her and sending her every meme and every clip possible.”

“Does your mom get uncomfortable when women openly lust after you?” asked Kimmel.

The newly minted Golden Globe nominee admitted it’s a common occurrence.

“I think by now she’s used to it,” he said. “So she just gives a little eye roll and just kinda keeps it pushing. She doesn’t really respond too much.”

Jordan often brings his mother as his plus-one to award shows, and the 83rd annual Golden Globe Awards were no exception, with his mother accompanying him at the ceremony.

Glaser, 41, didn’t hold back, joking, “I can’t believe it—we got two Michael B. Jordans.”

Referring to his roles in Sinners, the comedian continued, “When I saw that, I was like Nikki B. Jerkin’ because that was awesome.”

The actor’s mother Donna could then be seen in the crowd rolling her eyes, sipping her drink while the crowd laughed.
