Meghan Markle goes festive on Independence Day

Meghan Markle celebrated the Fourth of July with edible flowers and a throwback to her earlier style statement.

The Duchess of Sussex, 43, shared a glimpse of her setup for Independence Day celebrations via her As Ever Instagram handle.

The post featured a clip of Meghan putting together a festive charcuterie board with watermelon, berries, bread, and star-shaped cheese to resemble the colours of the American flag. She also sprinkled white flowers on top.

“Happy 4th of July!” Meghan captioned her post.

However, Meghan’s outfit seemed familiar to the blue-and-white striped shirt she wore to Wimbledon in 2018 when she attended the tennis championships at the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club in London alongside her sister-in-law, Kate Middleton.

This marks Meghan and Prince Harry’s fifth time celebrating Fourth of July together since stepping down as working royals in January 2020 and moving to the former actress’ native Southern California.
