Mark Ronson hints he’s ready to DJ Taylor Swift’s big day

Mark Ronson recently shared a few fun stories during his chat with Scott Mills on BBC Radio 2’s Breakfast Show.

The award-winning producer revealed that he actually DJ’d at Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco’s wedding just last week.

Ronson said he’s known Benny for about ten years and when the music producer got engaged, he asked him to play a special 90s-themed DJ set at the wedding.

The music producer happily agreed and said the celebration was full of fun and laughter. “It was a lot of fun. I have known Benny for ten years and when he got engaged he was like will you come and do like a 90s DJ set at my wedding and I was like sure.”

During the chat, the 50-year-old music icon also revealed that he is keeping his year open in case Taylor Swift asks him to play at her wedding.

Laughing about the idea, the Find You Again music artist added, “I did DJ a wedding that apparently she was at a week ago. I did not see her on the dancefloor so I probably didn’t do the best job of selling my services there.”

He went on to talk about his stepfather, Mick Jones from the band Foreigner, saying that the hit song “I Want to Know What Love Is” was written for his mother.

The songwriter and music composer also shared that many houses shown on MTV Cribs were fake except for his own which was small and real.

Ending on a lighter note, Mark said he feels grateful that Uptown Funk remains a massive wedding song and even joked about his early DJ names like Old English, Mark The Spark and Spark Ronson.
