Logan Paul is not letting any chance slide to impress everyone around him.
From publicly stepping into a cultural clash over one of music’s biggest shows to making history in the world of collectibles, he’s continued to grab headlines on multiple fronts.
The PRIME cofounder recently made headlines for selling one of the world’s rarest Pokémon cards, a PSA-graded Pikachu Illustrator, for a record-breaking amount at auction.
According to auction firm Goldin, Logan sell the ultra-rare Pokémon trading card for $16.49 million, setting a new world record for the most expensive trading card ever sold at auction.
Notably, The YouTuber and wrestler bought the Pikachu Illustrator card – the best preserved example of one of the rarest Pokémon cards ever – in a deal worth $5.3m (£3.9m) in 2021, a record at the time.
This jaw dropping milestone came a couple of days after Logan publicly spoke out in support of Bad Bunny.
Opposing his brother Jake Paul’s call to boycott Bad Bunny’s Super Bowl halftime show and rejecting negative comments about Bad Bunny, Logan defended the Puerto Rican star.
“I love my brother but I don’t agree with this. Puerto Ricans are Americans & I’m happy they were given the opportunity to showcase the talent that comes from the island,” Bad Bunny tweeted publicly disagreeing his brother, Jake Paul, who had urged fans to boycott the show and called the Puerto Rican artist a “fake American citizen”
