Linda Robson prefers acting to being a panelist on Loose Women.
Before she joined the ITV lunchtime talk show as a regular in June 2012, the 67-year-old star played many characters on stage and screen – with her most famous role being Tracey Stubbs in the BBC-then-ITV sitcom, Birds of a Feather.
And since becoming a panelist Loose Women, Linda thinks people now regard her as just a celebrity as opposed to an actress.
In a candid conversation with Bella magazine, when she was asked if she prefers acting or being on Loose Women, Linda told “I prefer acting, really. I think once I started doing Loose Women, you become more like a celebrity than an actor.”
Earlier this year, Linda and her Birds of a Feather co-star Lesley Joseph, 80, reunited to film a special episode of Channel 5’s murder mystery series, The Good Ship Murder, which will be released in 2026.
And Linda expressed that she loved working with Lesley again – the first time since ITV axed Birds of a Feather back in December 2020.
Linda said: “I did some acting this year with Lesley, we did The Good Ship Murder, which was filmed in Malta. I had to kill her. I enjoyed that because I said, ‘I’ve waited 30 years to strangle you!’”
“That was good fun,” Linda Robson concluded.
