Liam Gallagher says sorry after misleading post caused stir among fans

Liam Gallagher apologized after upsetting fans with a misleading post.

The former Oasis frontman took to his X account on Monday morning and teased a “big announcement at 6 am” that had fans hoping for tour news or a band reunion.

However, at the scheduled time, he simply posted, “I WORK OUT,” intending the post to be funny.

But, the joke didn’t land well and fans expressed disappointment and frustration.

After an overwhelming response from fans, Gallagher quickly posted an apology.

“If I caused any distress and upset anyone this morning, I’m deeply sorry,” he wrote. “That wasn’t my intention. Thought it was a bit of fun. I got it wrong. Please forgive me.”

When a fan asked if he was serious, Liam replied, “Yes. For all my faults, I honestly don’t mean to upset you lovely people. I’m old and read the room wrong.”

He later said the incident had been a “real eye opener” and added he might consider stepping back from social media to reflect.
