Tom Cruise is reportedly one of the most prominent members of Scientology.
The A-listed actor shares a close friendship with the Church leader David Miscavige.
In a new chat with Us Weekly, Leah Remini, a former member of the religion, recently claimed that the organization has gone at great lengths to protect him.
She began, “Can you imagine Tom being in a normal world? Like, without Scientology doing his dirty work for him?,” noting, “No.”
In addition to this, Leah claimed that the Church also attempted to conceal the damaging media coverage when Tom Cruise broke up with former girlfriend Nazanin Boniadi in the mid-2000s.
“He’s given enormous power,” she said of the A-listed actor.
“This is a man who has a multi-million-dollar organization using all its resources to stop a book being written about him,” Leah concluded.
For those unversed, Tom Cruise became associated with the movement back in 1986 through his first wife, Mimi Rogers.
As per some new reports, Tom has set his eyes on Ana De Armas and believes that she could be a perfect “scientology wife.”
The duo sparked romance rumors when they swerve spotted having a dinner on 13 February this year. Since then, they’ve been seen on outings together.
However, it is unlikely that they are in a relationship as the Ghosted star is reportedly dating Manuel Anido Cuesta.
