KPop Demon Hunters singers have recently shared their emotional reaction after receiving delightful news.

The singing stars EJAE, Audrey Nuna and Rei Ami sing for the roles of Rumi (Arden Cho), Mira (May Hong) and Zoey (Ji-young Yoo) respectively in KPop Demon Hunters reportedly made their debut on Jimmy Fallon’s The Tonight Show on October 7.

All three singers had performed their chart topping single, Golden, for the first time live on Jimmy’s late-night show.

During the show, the late-night host finally broke news to all three singers who were left in happy tears after learning that movie’s soundtrack had gone platinum, referencing the latest Billboard 200 albums chart.

According to a report via Variety, the KPop Demon Hunters soundtrack registered a second non-consecutive week at No. 1 in the latest tracking week.

For the unversed, KPop Demon Hunters animated movie, which was released on June 20, and by late August, became the streamer’s most-watched movie of all time, beating the previous title holder, Red Notice, with 236 million views.

Directed by Chris Appelhans and Maggie Kang, the movie follows “a K-pop supergroup who needs to balance their lives as world-famous pop stars with their secret side hustle as demon slayers,” per synopsis.

To note, KPop Demon Hunters’ track Golden finally made history by leading the Hot 100 for a fifth consecutive week, making it the longest-running No. 1 song by an animated movie.
