Keith Urban seems to end interview over Nicole Kidman question

Keith Urban apparently ended an interview over a question about his wife, Nicole Kidman’s, intimate scenes in a Zac Efron film.

Urban was being interviewed on Mix 102.3’s Hayley & Max radio show in the Morning on Tuesday, July 1.

The Messed Up As Me singer was on the show via Zoom to promote his upcoming High and Alive World Tour.

However, the singer didn’t want to talk about his wife and her work when hosts Hayley Peterson and Max Burford tried to introduce a game called “Wheel of Truth.”

“In our ‘Wall of Truth,’ Keith, we often get put into this situation where we have to answer a very tricky question, deeply personal question,” Peterson said as he introduced the game, per clips published by Australian outlet Radio Today.

He continued, “I get really uncomfortable, to be honest, asking our beautiful guests something they might be uncomfortable [answering].”

Burford then asked Urban about Nicole’s 2024 Netflix rom-com A Family Affair, which co-starred Zac Efron.

“I thought, ‘What does Keith Urban think when he sees his beautiful wife with beautiful younger men like Zac Efron having these beautiful love scenes on TV?’” Burford asked.

When no reply came, someone, presumably a producer, told the hosts, “He’s just disconnected from Zoom. I think his team hung up on us because they didn’t want us to ask that question.”

Peterson agreed, “That’s 100 percent what’s just happened. Oh, my God!”

“I knew that would happen,” she confessed. “We’ve upset him! He’s gone.”

“He doesn’t like talking about his wife,” she added.

Burford, on the other hand, felt they were “vibing” with the singer and was taken aback.

He quipped, “Does Keith Urban hate us? Do we have beef with Keith Urban?”
