Julia Michaels shared some insights into her wedding planning.
During the Heaven singer’s recent appearance on the Zach Sang Show on June 4, she revealed that she and her finance Mat Rule have started to put together ideas for their big day.
“We’re planning a wedding. It’s nothing crazy,” said Michaels, who got engaged to the tattoo artist in April.
“I’m not a flashy person. I don’t really enjoy being the center of attention,” she noted.
Julia mentions that instead of lavish celebrations she and Rule are keeping things simple.
“We’re just gonna do something small and cozy and warm, with just close friends and family, and call it a day,” she explained.
When inquired if the wedding would take place in France or “here” in the United States of America, Michaels responded, “Here, small and cute here, and just call it a day.”
“Yeah, I just want it to be, like, warm and happy,” she emphasized.
