Bailey appeared on Amelia Dimoldenberg’s Chicken Shop Date and the duo talked about various things, including Jonathan’s breakout role in Bridgerton.
In the show, the Wicked star plays Viscount Anthony Bridgerton, whose love story was the subject of the second season of the period drama.
Anthony marries Simone Ashley’s Kathani Sharma/Bridgerton. The couple’s onscreen chemistry was hailed by fans, and they remain a beloved couple despite the show not featuring Anthony’s younger siblings’ stories.
When asked if being in Bridgerton taught him more about romance, Bailey had an honest answer: “No!”
Host Amelia then asked the actor if he could see her in the show and what her character would be.
The Jurassic World Rebirth star didn’t make Amelia happy with his reply, saying that she’d be “uptight” and a “potential spinster.”
Elsewhere, the host asked if someone could have too much charisma. The actor replied: “I think it’s dangerous.”
Amelia gushed that “It’s amazing” to see someone with so much charisma. Bailey agreed, saying, “It’s magnets.”
She then told him she’d been talking about him. Bailey modestly replied that it depends on who you’re with.
But the host continued in her praise and noted that some people can be charismatic even with inanimate objects like a bench.
