Jessie J got emotional while singing about miscarriage

Jessie J had an emotional moment during her latest performance.

On November 28, the singer debuted her song Comes in Waves ahead of the release of her album, Don’t Tease Me with a Good Time.

While introducing the track, Jessie talked about losing her child four years ago. “Today marks four years that I lost my baby,” the singer said as per the Daily Mail.

Adding, “I don’t know if anyone has gone through the same thing, but if you have, or you know someone close to you and you saw it, it’s really f—ing bad.”

Jessie went on to share, “It’s something that you can’t ever really prepare to go through. This song is for anybody that needs that hug. I hope this song can help you as it’s helped me.”

The track Comes in Waves features emotional lyrics, prompting Jessie to turn away from audience mid performance to wipe off tears.

Jessie J experienced miscarriage in 2021. She revealed in an emotional post on Instagram at the time that she decided to have “a baby on my own” and when she went for the third scan she was told “there was no longer a heartbeat.”

However, the songstress welcomed son Sky two years later with her boyfriend Chanan Safir Colman.
