Jessica Alba and Cash Warren reach divorce settlement year after split

Jessica Alba and Cash Warren have officially finalised their divorce, bringing an end to their 18-year marriage a little over a year after their split.

According to court documents obtained by TMZ, Jessica Alba, 44, and Cash Warren, 47, reached a settlement earlier this month.

The former couple will share joint custody of their three children, and neither party will pay spousal support. As part of the agreement, Warren will reportedly receive $3 million to balance the division of their assets.

Alba and Warren married in May 2008 and share three children: daughter Honor, born in June 2008; daughter Haven, born in August 2011; and son Hayes, born in December 2017.

News of their separation first emerged in January 2025, with both later filing for divorce the following month and listing their date of separation as 27 December 2024.

Later in January 2025, Alba publicly addressed the split for the first time in a message shared on Instagram.

“I’ve been on a journey of self-realisation and transformation for years — both as an individual and in partnership with Cash,” she wrote.

“I’m proud of how we’ve grown in our marriage over the last 20 years and it’s now time for us to embark on a new chapter of growth and evolution as individuals.”

She added: “We are moving forward with love, kindness and respect for each other and will forever be family. Our children remain our highest priority and we request privacy at this time.”

At the time of filing, both Alba and Warren asked the court to determine which assets were community property and how they should be divided.

Sources close to the former couple later suggested the decision to separate followed years of challenges.

An insider told Us Weekly that they had experienced “many ups and downs” and had previously tried therapy while working through issues over the years.

The source said there had been trust issues in the past and that, over time, the romance faded.

“The marriage ran its course,” the insider explained, adding that communication between them had suffered. Despite this, the split was described as mutual and respectful.

“Jessica and Cash made the decision together that this was no longer working or healthy for anyone,” the source said, noting that their children remain the priority and that the co-parenting arrangement has been amicable.

Since the separation, Alba has moved on and was first linked to Danny Ramirez in July 2025, after the pair were spotted returning from a holiday in Mexico.

Warren has remained single, although he was photographed holding hands with actress and model Hana Sun Doerr last summer.

When asked about Alba’s new relationship, Warren shared a supportive response. Speaking to TMZ in July 2025, he said: “I’m happy for her. I don’t know him, but he seems like a good guy.”

While their marriage has come to an end, both Alba and Warren appear focused on maintaining a positive relationship as co-parents and business partners, closing this chapter quietly and without public conflict.
