Jeremy Allen White has made a surprisingly relatable confession about how he switches off from work.

During a recent appearance on the SmartLess podcast, the 34-year-old actor opened up about the unusual activity that helps him unwind during breaks from filming.

Explaining how the habit allows him to fully relax, White shared that “fantasising” about properties helps him “completely decompress.”

“I’m obsessed with reality real estate shows, and I’m, like, always on my realtor app,” he said.

“I don’t buy anything, but I like to fantasise… I send listings to friends, and they’re like, ‘Just buy it then!'”

The Bear star admitted the pastime often sneaks up on him while he’s traveling for work or even on road trips, when curiosity turns into imagining an entirely different life.

“What if I got another place here? What if I just, like, would come here all the time?” he mused.

Podcast host Jason Bateman was quick to relate, confessing he falls into the same pattern when visiting new places.

“I’m immediately thinking about getting a place there,” Bateman said.

“That’s how I could feel like I’m at home there. So I’m not homesick,” he concluded.
