Jean Smart remembers a clothing disaster

Jean Smart recently recalled a wardrobe malfunction while meeting her son’s college counsellor.

The 73-year-old American actress showed up on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert on Monday, June 2, where she talked about a mistake she made while getting dressed to visit her son’s college.

Smart shared, “I bought this pair of white pants the other day, and they had kind of this green, kind of embroidered vine or something. I thought they were kind of pretty and really comfy.”

“I wore them to my son’s school to meet the college counselor and later, I really looked at them, and I went, ‘Oh. That’s a marijuana plant with a naked woman on one leg. And on the other thigh was a bong,’” she explained.

The Primetime Emmy winner went on to laughingly admit that she “can’t imagine what he thought.”

After listening to her story, Colbert said he considered her to be a “cool mom.”

Notably, Jean Smart did not specify which son she was talking about, as she is the mother of two sons, Connor and Forest.

It is pertinent to mention that Connor was born in 1989 while she and her late husband adopted Forest in May 2009.
