Ozzy Osbourne was spending quality time with his family and doing things that he loved during the days leading up to his death.
As per a source privy to People, the Black Sabbath legend, who died at 76 on July 22, was content before his death.
At the time of his passing, the Crazy Train singer’s wife Sharon, and their kids were by his side
“[Sharon’s] deepest hope was fulfilled, and this is her focus now,” the insider told the outlet. “Ozzy’s final days were spent in England, surrounded by family, music and in the place he called home. He was at peace.”
It is pertinent to mention that the rocker tied the knot with Sharon in 1982 and welcomed daughters Aimee and Kelly and son Jack. Ozzy was also father to sons Louis, 50, and Elliot and daughter Jessica, 45, whom he shares with his ex-wife.
Days before Ozzy’s death, he took the stage for his final performance with Black Sabbath at England’s Villa Park.
“That show meant everything,” the tipster noted. “It brought his career full circle.”
Back in May, before his final show, Ozzy gushed over how he was preparing for his performance.
“All I can say is I’m giving 120 percent. If my God wants me to do the show, I’ll do it,” he said on his SiriusXM show Ozzy Speaks. “I haven’t done any physical work for the last seven [or so] years. By hook or by crook, I’m gonna make it there. I’ve got this trainer guy who helps people get back to normal. It’s hard going, but he’s convinced that he can pull it off for me. I’m giving it everything I’ve got.”
