Eric Dane is leaning on family through one of the hardest battles of his life.
The Euphoria actor, 52, was spotted on a rare outing with wife Rebecca Gayheart and their 13-year-old daughter Georgia in West Hollywood on October 30, after the couple called off their divorce earlier this year in March. A month later, Dane revealed his ALS diagnosis.
The trio appeared close as they headed to Sushi Park, with Dane smiling in a wheelchair while Gayheart and Georgia walked beside him.
Gayheart, who shares daughters Georgia and Billie, 15, with Dane, told People magazine in September that the diagnosis has been “heartbreaking” for their family.
“My girls are really suffering, and we’re just trying to get through it,” she said. Still, she added that the struggle has brought them closer. “Eric will always be my family… we’re just doing it with dignity, grace and love.”
Gayheart initially filed for divorce from the Grey’s Anatomy star in 2018 after 14 years of marriage, citing irreconcilable differences.
However, Dane’s health battle put things into perspective for Gayheart, who told People, “We’re definitely dealing with something that has brought us all together, and Eric will always be my family, whether we’re married or not, or living in the same house or not.”
