Dakota Johnson opened up about her simple dating rule following her split from Chris Martin.
The 35-year-old actress, who recently broke up with Martin after eight years of a relationship, dished on the one thing she looks for in her partner.
In a recent episode of Today, she shared with Craig Melvin that her romantic partner should not be unpleasant.
“Just like, not an a******,” Johnson told the host.
Chris Evans, who is starring with Johnson in the upcoming movie Materialistic, also made an appearance with her at the show, showed his support for her dating non-negotiable.
“That’s concise,” Evans joked. “There it is. Nail on the head.”
Dakota’s crisp response came a few days after several outlets reported Johnson split from ex-fiance Martin. The former couple first sparked romance rumors in 2018.
However, even after partying ways, Martin recently urged his fans to watch Johnson’s new film hitting theaters on June 13.
“Be kind to yourself, be kind to each other. Don’t forget to see Materialists!” the Coldplay frontman said to his crowd on the June 1 show of his band in California.
