Bindi Irwin shares her daughter Grace’s passion

Bindi Irwin is seeing shades of her late father, Steve Irwin, in her 4-year-old daughter, Grace.

On the June 5 episode of the Not Gonna Lie with Kylie Kelce podcast, the 26-year-old TV personality discussed her daughter and revealed that she wants to feed crocodiles at Australian Zoo, where she lives with her husband, Chandler Powell, and their daughter.

Bindi said that Grace has started to act like her grandfather, Steve, despite never seeing him.

She quipped, “There have been a lot of talks with our daughter because she’s 4 now, which is wonderful. But it also means you wanna be part of everything. So like, when we’re feeding the crocodiles, she’s like, ‘Why can’t I be there with you?’ She’s crying, ‘I just wanna feed the crocodiles!'”

The mother of one added, “We’re like, ‘Well, this is why you can’t and why you have to wait ’till you’re 18. But it’s really that education.”

“And kids are so good. They’re like little sponges. They just absorb so much information,” Bindi noted.

The Dancing with the Stars dancer went on to state she and her husband have slowly let Grace be around animals such as tortoises, wombats and echidnas because they know these animals are safe.

“And that’s what my parents did with me. It was a slow progression as I got older. And then it kind of like becomes second nature,” Bind Irwin said.
