According to a press release, his upcoming performance at The Academy would make Hanumankind “go down in history as one of the artists who introduced the world to Indian hip-hop.”

It was only last year when the rapper released his rather viral track, Big Dawgs, which not only garnered social media fame on YouTube shorts, TikToks and Instagram reels but also became an international hit.

After the immense success of Big Dawgs, Hanumankind also released a remixed version of the song by teaming up with A$AP Rocky.

Despite rapping in English, he is quite popular in his home country, India for promoting his culture and Indian pop through his music.

In September 2024, Hanumankind performed at a rally for the Indian Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, in New York and has released two EPs: Kalari in 2019 and Surface Level the following year.
