Andy Cohen cheers on Jax Taylor after sudden Valley exit 

Andy Cohen showed support for Jax Taylor after he quit The Valley.

Jax, 46, had revealed that he was leaving the show to focus on getting sober. Cohen called it the right move and said Jax was putting himself first.

He felt Jax was making a smart choice and hit the nail on the head.

Andy shared with PEOPLE: “I think it’s a good decision. I think he needs to work out s*** without cameras around.”

The TV host believes Jax is “very committed” to his sobriety journey.

Andy had a heart-to-heart with Jax away from the cameras, giving him advice on getting his life back on track and trying to mend things with Brittany Cartwright.

Andy continued: “This comes up at the reunion — I have kind of a serious conversation with him about his need for control and his anger issues, and what it’s going to take to get to a better place with Brittany and in the world. And I hope he takes the time to lean into this, away from the cameras.”

However, Jax recently shared that he is quitting The Valley.
