Angela Bassett admits she is grateful to not do stunts for ‘Mission: Impossible’

Angela Bassett just admitted she had no intentions of doing any stunts for the upcoming Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning.

The 66-year-old actress would mark her return as the franchise’s US President Erika Sloane in the upcoming part and revealed she is glad she didn’t have to perform any stunts along side her co-star, Tom Cruise.

Speaking to HeyUGuys.com, Angela said, “There is no part of me whatsoever that thinks that, dreams that, hopes that and longs for that.

When asked that if it was Tom who approached her, the actress replied, “I got a phone call from my agent… I suppose he called her or his people called my people.”
