Kimora Lee Simmons and her estranged husband Tim Leissner are officially ending their marriage years after moving apart.
TMZ recently reported on Tuesday that the ex-couple is moving towards divorce as Tim, who is a former banker, filed for it in February.
According to the document obtained by the outlet, the reason for the Kimora: Back in the Fab Lane alum and Tim’s split after 12 years of marriage is listed as “irreconcilable differences.”
However, there is no official date of their divorce revealed, but it was reported that Kimora and Tim have been living separately since 2022.
A source told the outlet that the pair has been going through estrangement for nearly six years.
It is pertinent to mention that Kimora married Tim back in February 2014.
Moreover, Tim has asked for joint legal and physical custody of his and Kimora’s son, Wolfe Lee Leissner, who is 11 years old.
The former model also shares two daughters, Aoki, 23, and Ming, 25, with her first husband Russell Simmons, While is also mom to son, Kenzo, 16, whom she welcomed with her ex-boyfriend Djimon Hounsou.
Kimora also has two non-biological sons, per US Weekly, a “bonus” son named Jaden, and 16-year-old Gary, whom she adopted in 2020.
