Kayti Edwards, the mother of the teenage grandkid of the superstar, revealed in a recent chat with The Sun that she broke the news to Cher almost a year ago and she was shocked.
Revealing the details that ” Cher got in touch with” her “last June” and inquired if it was true that she and Cher’s second son, Elijah Allman, share a daughter.
At the time, Kayti revealed she “had to confess.”
How Cher got to know, the doting mom of the teenage girl shared Cher told her “she had heard something about it from Elijah back in 2021, but didn’t know if it was just crazy talk.”
What was Cher’s reaction? Kayti unveiled, “When she heard the news, she was speechless.”
However, the chart legend was also over the moon after finding out that she is a grandparent parent, “finally.”

She revealed that she had a brief fling with Elijah back in 2010, which led to the birth of their daughter.

“He always knew from day one, but he never wanted to be a parent.”
As for how the rumors sparked after years of silence, Kayti shared back in 2021, when Elijah was “overdosed on drugs,” “he blurted out to his then-wife that he had a child.”
