‘Cobra Kai’ actress Peyton List explains why she has ‘nothing to report’ on dating life

Cobra Kai actress Peyton List is expressing her gratitude for being in a long-term romantic relationship with her boyfriend, Jacob Bertrand.

As the actress attended the opening night of Becky Shaw, a dark comedy show about a chaotic blind date, she shared that she does not have any relatable date night stories like the show.

“Thank God. I’ve been in a relationship for years now, so nothing to report,” she told People at New York City’s Hayes Theater earlier this month.

She told the outlet at the time that Bertrand is “an authentic, genuine soul,” adding that they both “love” travelling.

“He’s really into backpacking and camping. That was a dream of mine growing up in Brooklyn. My parents were like, ‘We don’t know how to camp.’ So Jacob has really shown me the ropes.”

List’s remarks on the ‘Cobra Kai’ role:

After she got the role following her audition, the actress revealed she was scared.

“I didn’t feel ready for that role of Tory, even on the final day of shooting,” List admitted. “She’s such a presence, and she’s always ready to fight someone. She’s so different from me, but there are parts of myself that I found through playing her.”

For those unversed, Cobra Kai, a Netflix action-comedy series, is the redemption of The Karate Kid 1984. List played the character of Tory Nichols, an intense karate student.
