FKA Twigs breaks barriers with heartfelt message during Coachella set

Tahliah Debrett Barnett, who goes by the name FKA Twigs, delivered an emotional performance at 2026 Coachella.

On Sunday, April 12, she performed for 75 minutes and showed her pole dance moves. Along with different songs, she gave an intense and emotional performance of her song Cellophane towards the conclusion of her set, holding back her tears while her performance also tugged at the audience’s heartstrings.

The 38-year-old English singer-songwriter and record producer also made an emotional speech during her performance, saying,

Twigs, who kicked off her global Body High Tour to promote and support her albums Eusexua and Eusexua Afterglow in March 2026, told her fans at Coachella, “Going on tour the last month and looking out into the audience, I’ve not really seen fans or people that are just kind of into my music.”

“What I’ve seen is community. I’m looking out into the crowd tonight and I see the same thing. I think that all of us are here tonight because we want to grow, because we believe in ourselves, because we’re artistic, because we have an expression, because we’re here against all odds,” she added.

It is pertinent to mention that Twigs, whose albums Eusexua and Eusexua Afterglow came out in 2025, started her tour on March 30 in Denver and will conclude it on July 3 in Belgium.
