Terry Crews reportedly helped his wife Rebecca find an effective therapy for her health scare.

For those unversed, Rebecca Crews was diagnosed with Parkinson’s in 2015 after experiencing four years of mysterious symptoms.

In a new chat with PEOPLE Magazine, Crews revealed her experience with the treatment which has changed her life. This is namely focused ultrasound, a treatment that has had just been approved by the FDA for Parkinson’s.

Reflecting on the time when her husband introduced her to the treatment, she said, “I was kneeling by my bed, praying and crying because I had not slept in several nights and was just ready to die.”

After getting the treatment, she initially had no faith in, Crews decided to sharer her story so that others might be able to benefit as well.

“The only reason I’m going public is because I finally have some uplifting information to offer.”

Reportedly, the results of the treatment were evident on the right side of her body within hours. “I noticed it immediately.”

“I was at the hotel [near the hospital] and as I was trying to put my pants on I realized that I could lift my leg without holding onto a table or anything.”

“And then I realized that I could write and sign my name in perfectly legible handwriting. I couldn’t do any of those things before [having the procedure].”
