Machine Gun Kelly has marked his daughter Saga Blade’s first birthday with a tender look back at their first year together, giving fans the most revealing glimpse yet of the little girl he and Megan Fox welcomed last year.
The rapper, 35, posted a collection of photos and videos to Instagram on 1 April, including a standout snap of himself and Saga lying side by side on the grass next to a reflective piece of playground equipment, the clearest look at the one-year-old’s face he has shared publicly, having typically kept her off social media.
Other snaps showed the pair cuddling while she napped on his chest, and a video of Saga riding a train at a fall festival.
The post also captured Saga’s bond with her older sister Casie Baker, MGK’s 16-year-old daughter with ex Emma Cannon, with pictures of the siblings playing on a playground and wearing matching onesies at Christmas.
Earlier in the day, MGK had already given a sweet preview of their dynamic during an Instagram Live on 31 March, picking up his daughter and addressing her with an affectionate nickname.
“Hi, princess,” he said. “Hey, you wanna jam?” He then added: “I got my baby in my hands, y’all. Come here, princess.”
MGK and Megan Fox split around three months before Saga’s birth, though he made headlines recently when he commented beneath a set of Fox’s Instagram photos that he was “stoked we had a baby.”
He was quick to shut down any suggestion of a reconciliation, however, writing on Instagram in January that the speculation was little more than clickbait.
