Taylor Swift’s next album will be the much-anticipated TS13, already special due to the number 13 charm attached to the title, and the pop superstar has already started to churn out new melodies for it.
The 36-year-old musician, who is about to enter a very different and significant phase in her life with her fast approaching wedding to Travis Kelce, is taking it one day at a time without any pressure to put out another body of work so soon after The Life of a Showgirl.
While the Opalite hitmaker has “another record in the works,” her main priority right now is “her personal life” insiders told Us Weekly.
Speaking further about TS13, the source added, “there’s no pressure to release it anytime soon. It’s still very much in the creative stages.”
Swift also reportedly never intended for the Showgirl era to extend very long and there are no plans for a tour, “This was meant to be a lighter, fun chapter. She never meant to do a massive tour attached to it,” they told the outlet.
Following two years of the Eras Tour, and then making and promoting Showgirl, the 14-time-Grammy winner is focusing her attention on the exciting milestones ahead of her and her fiancée as they tie the knot this summer. “She and Travis are saving all their energy for the big summer they have coming up,” said the source.
They noted that the couple is trying to spend much time as possible together before the wedding chaos hits and the Kansas City Chiefs tight end goes away for his NFL training camp.
This was not the first time, the news of TS13 came about. During his interview at the Pat McAfee show, Kelce hinted at the new album, confirming that Swift was back to work.
“It’s amazing to see her keep going to the table, keep finding new things to write about, keep finding new melodies and, on top of that, still seeing her have that love and joy in what she does. Of course that’s motivating. That’s motivating for anybody to see, let alone my fiancée,” the star athlete said.
