Megan Thee Stallion has opened up about a frightening health scare that forced her to leave the stage mid-performance.

During her Broadway debut in Moulin Rouge! The Musical, the Grammy-winning rapper was rushed to hospital after suddenly feeling unwell.

On Wednesday, Megan shared a heartfelt message for fans via Instagram post. She admitted the experience was a “wake-up call.”

“Last night was a real wake-up call for me,” she wrote in the caption.

Adding, ” I’ve been pushing myself past my limits lately, running on empty, and my body finally said enough. It honestly scared me. I thought I was gonna faint on stage, I really tried to push through my performance but I just couldn’t.”

Megan went on to write, “Hotties I wanna be real with y’all because you mean everything to me and I hate letting yall down.”

“I just need one day to rest, reset, and take care of myself the way I should have been..,” she noted.

Furthermore, Megan Thee Stallion revealed that she’ll be back on stage on Thursday, noting, “stronger, clearer, and ready to give you 100% the way you deserve.”
