‘Shrinking’ season 3 stars speak fondly about Harrison Ford ahead of finale

Harrison Ford, a well-known star, received much applause for his performance in Shrinking. Yet, as the penultimate episode was dropped, speculations about his exit rose up.

However, neither the actor nor the show confirmed that he is leaving. Neither of his co-stars hinted at the shock decision.

Instead, they had nothing but warm words for Ford, who plays a therapist suffering from Parkinson’s disease.

Lukia Maxwell, who portrays Alice, the honourary granddaughter of Paul, Ford’s character, tells Decider, “This season, as with every season, [working with Harrison] is such a gift. It will always be something I will look back on and just be in awe of.”

She continues, “His presence is insane. His relationship with cast, with crew, with camera. He’s been doing it forever. He loves it so much. And the care and attention he has for everything — he’s just the best. He’s the best of the best.”

Luke Tennie fondly recalls his one-on-one scene with Ford in season three, stating, “There is one in particular, it’s kind of like a graduation scene between Harrison and myself — Paul and Sean — and he kind of let Sean know, ‘I think you’re going to be all right when I’m not here, when this disease takes over.’ And I think Sean understands that Paul’s right. He does have all the tools and the skills necessary to continue his life and grow in a responsible way.”
