Jamie Lee Curtis reveals why she never planned to become an actress

Jamie Lee Curtis is commemorating five decades in the entertainment world.

On Monday, March 31, the Freaky Friday star took to her Instagram account to mark her almost 50 years of acting.

But the Oscar-winning actress revealed she never thought of becoming an actress but a “cop.”

Gushing over her milestone, she posted a throwback picture of herself showing one of her earliest onscreen roles as a waitress on a Columbo episode in 1977.

“I was telling the story on set of my early jobs as an unnamed waitress on a Columbo episode when I was a contract player at Universal Pictures and now I am a producer, HBIC [head bitch in charge], a costar with Nicole Kidman and collaborator on #scarpetta @primevideo @nowscreamingpv @blumhouse @comet.pictures @blossomfilms.”

“There was no future tripping. It was just each job, one job at a time, grateful for any opportunity and patience. Lots of f***** patience,” she added.
