Ozzy Osbourne starts rehearsing for ‘final’ performance

Ozzy Osbourne has begun rehearsing!

The Paranoid hitmakers, which comprised of the rock stars Osbourne, Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler and Bill Ward, would be reuniting for the last time at the Back To The Beginning show, to be held at Birmingham’s Villa Park on July 5.

They shared a picture of them together on X, formerly Twitter, with the caption, “Rehearsals are underway for Back To The Beginning: Ozzy’s Final Bow.”

Featuring Osbourne, Butler and Ward, all three showed off their grins at the camera, sitting backstage, as the War Pigs rocker, who has been struggling with his ailing health for quite some time, held a cane in his hand.

And even though Iommi could not be seen in the photo, he is still scheduled to appear on stage and be a part of the historic show.

This performance will mark the first time Black Sabbath’s original members will perform together, after a 20-year-long gap.

However, Osbourne insisted that this would be the last of the metal and rock icons, telling Mojo magazine: “After this show, I’m going home, closing the door and will look back upon the great career I’ve had.”

“But I’m done, done, done! You gotta know when to call it quits,” he admitted.

“Right now, I’m feeling grateful and proud and I’m sure I’ll be feeling dozens more emotions on the day of the show,” the Prince of Darkness further mentioned.

Additionally, at the Back To The Beginning show, legends like Metallica, Slayer, Pantera, Gojira, Halestorm, Alice In Chains, and Lamb of God are all scheduled to perform.
