Kane Brown, an American singer, was performing at the Kickoff event of the TV show Tight End University held in Nashville, United States on June 24 and during his set, Brown teased the crowd with a “really, really special guest”.
That guest turned out to be Taylor Swift surprising everyone. She strummed her guitar and performed a duet of Shake It Off with Brown.
A source told People that Swift dedicated her performance, “to our favorite players who are going to play and these are the tight ends.”
Later, Brown shared a picture on Instagram, standing between the couple, Swift and Travis Kelce, while wearing a white T-Shirt and camouflage pants.
He captioned it humorously, “When you think you’re the special guest BUT you’re not” and a laughing emoji.
Fans flooded the comments, praising the stars and the iconic moment.
One fan commented, “a country star, a football star, and a queen walk into a nashville bar…” (sic)
The crowd was thrilled by Swift’s surprise performance and some took to social media to praise the “legendary” and “iconic” moment too.
A separate fan turned to Brown and said, “We love you Kane! Thanks for letting our girl sing.”
For those unversed, Tight End University is a football summit co-founded by NFL star Travis Kelce, and this event marked the kickoff ceremony.
