Girl group KATSEYE has released the music video for their new song “Gabriela”.
The track is the second single from the group’s upcoming EP “BEAUTIFUL CHAOS”.
The music video, directed by Andrew Thomas Huang, stars actor and businesswoman Jessica Alba alongside the members.
“Our music video for ‘Gabriela’ is vibrant, colourful, dramatic, and full of heart,” KATSEYE said in a statement.
“We leaned into the world of telenovelas because they’re iconic and over-the-top in the best possible way – from the acting to hair and wardrobe. We tried to honour that spirit while having fun with the concept. It’s all love, all homage, and definitely all drama!”
KATSEYE is comprised of members Daniela, Lara, Manon, Megan, Sophia and Yoonchae.
They were formed through the 2023 reality television show “Dream Academy” and debuted in 2024 under the joint venture of South Korean HYBE and U.S. label Geffen Records.
They are the first U.S.-based girl group under the South Korean label, responsible for BTS, SEVENTEEN and NewJeans, to be moulded under the K-pop training system.
