Timothée Chalamet’s comments  against child-free people have resurfaced after the actor recently drew  criticism for saying “no one cares about opera and ballet anymore,” which triggered backlash from performing-arts institutions.

In his 2025 interview with Vogue, the actor made controversial remarks about people who don’t want to have children.

During the interview, he expressed his desire to have children one day but made some very divisive comments about people who choose to remain child-free. .

Chalamet, who is in a relationship with Kylie Jenner, recalled watching someone he refused to name “bragging about not having kids and how much time it afforded them to do other stuff” in an interview.

The Dune actor and his friend, who were watching the interview together, “turned to each other, ‘Like, holy shit. Oh my God. Bleak.'”

The actor  acknowledged that some people “can’t have children or are never in a position to,” he believes that “procreation is the reason we’re here.”

His girlfriend , Kylie, shares two children with her ex, Travis Scott and reportedly she would “love to have another baby” with Timothée at some point in the future.
